February 2015

It has been an amazing month getting settled into the YWAM base here in Colorado Springs. Our family has transitioned well into base life and we have seen God’s hand as He confirms we are exactly where we are suppose to be for this season.

Isaiah watching the sunrise over Colorado Springs on a chilly, early morning family hike.

Joey and I dressed in our Central Asian gear for the Nations Showcase. Five countries were presented for our staff, students and community to learn about the cultures and gain a heart for the people in these nations.
Joey has been working many hours helping with a new roof for our building. He even went out one night to clear the roof when snow came collapsing in on the half done room.
The great part about family missions, we all work together. Here is Noah helping daddy in the maintenance workshop getting ready to do some repairs.
Makenna and Kyla snuggling up! It has been pretty cold for us So Cal natives, but we are enjoying the colder climate and playing in the snow!

As always, we are so grateful for those that walk with us on this journey through friendship, prayer and financial support!

‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’ Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT)

Lots of Love,
Joey, Laurel, Isaiah, Kyla, Makenna and Noah
